Aktivisten, die sich als Shadow Brokers ausgeben, veröffentlichen bei github.com ein verschlüsseltes Archiv mit Tools und Exploits, die von NSA zur Überwachung genutzt worden sein sollen. Zusätzlich liefern sie bei medium.com das Passwort für das Archiv und eine Begründung:
